Staedler and Waldorf bust out of the box!

Dangerously, dynamic duo Staedler and Waldorf are pleased to announce their signing to Aardvark Records. Their first single and album is due for release in mid-november 2007.

The Cardiff based duo met through The Reverend and the course of musical history has never been the same since!

Their unique mix of funk, beats, dancehall, trance and more has been wowing the public for some time including 2 legendary appearances on the Glade stage at Glastonbury.

Check out the Stadler and Waldorf Myspace page for news, tunes and more. A big DIG congratulations to the boys and girl.

Saw this band whilst I was in Cardiff a few years ago, The female singer had amazing voice and stage presense although the other two were very poor performers (the proverbial paint drying!). The key boardist was clearly the worst of the two, obviously miming trying to showboat by waving his arm as though he was saying good bye to his Navy boyfriend as he sailed away on duty, before bringin it down clearly a beat too late. Hilariously bad!!!
After the "performance" I had the pleasure to buy the singer a drink although this UNfortunately allowed me to meet "Steve" the keyboardist, To describe him a simple tool would be a MASSIVE understatement. Clearly had delusions to his musician status and proceded to tell me how amazing he thought he was and how he (actually) believed he carried the band (he wasn't good enough to a take away home!) and actually told me to literally shut up just so he could regail me with more tails of his superiority over all man kind.
next as if out of a cartoon He suddenly realises he's apparently lost his crystal meth and demands everyone search for it accusing each of us in turn of stealing it. Needles to say I called him a knob threw my drink over him and told him to shut the f**k up of I was going to knock seven shades of S**t out side.
To summerise, the vocalist was great, music as mediochre and the keyboardist needs a slap. (you never saw that keyboard geezer from erasure throwin his weight around and he had ACTUALL talent)
